Who is behind this
A studio built for people starting from zero.
Voyage Cited exists because the first year of an online business is mostly paperwork nobody explains — and the explanations that do exist assume you already know the vocabulary.
Why we started
Every guide on this site began as a note to ourselves. A client would ask why their new site was invisible in ChatGPT, and the honest answer was never one thing — it was a domain registered in someone else’s name, a privacy policy copied from a template, a page that described features instead of answering a question.
So we wrote the order down. Eight steps, each with the specific field names and the specific buttons, each ending in something you can check. If a step cannot be verified, it does not belong in a guide.
What we actually do
Two things: we build sites that survive being read by a machine, and we sit with people while they do the parts that scare them. The second one is more of the work than you would expect. Most of what stops a first-time founder is not technical, it is the fear of pressing the wrong button on a page that cost them money.
We keep the scope small on purpose. We do not run ads for you, we do not manage your social accounts, and we do not hold your credentials hostage. If you leave, you leave with everything.
Principles
Four rules we do not break.
Plain English or nothing
If a sentence needs a second read, it gets rewritten. Jargon is a way of charging for confusion.
You own the accounts
Domains, hosting, payment processors and analytics are registered in your name from day one. Always.
No invented proof
No stock faces as founders, no fabricated testimonials, no client logos we have not worked with.
Every step is checkable
Each instruction ends in something you can look at and confirm. Unverifiable advice is opinion, and we label it as such.
Honest limits
What we do not do.
- We are not lawyers. Legal pages here are templates to adapt, not legal advice.
- We are not accountants. Tax and entity guidance is educational; verify with a local professional.
- We do not guarantee rankings or AI citations. We fix the structure that makes them possible.
- We do not resell hosting. You buy it directly, at cost, in your own account.
Still here? Good.
